It has always been a goal of mine to pursue a career as a design engineer and entrepreneur.  I applied to college for engineering hoping to one day become part of a great technological achievement. I am currently at Northeastern University pursuing my PhD. in Industrial Engineering.

I wanted to become an engineer because of my love of photography.  I applied to college wanting to design digital cameras; to be able to improve upon and advanced the digital technologies of the future.  I strongly believe that there are always improvements on current devices as technologies become more advanced.

I successfully completed a Dual Degree Program at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Mechanical and Biomedical Engineering.  I graduated on May 19, 2007, a year before the expected date.  In August 2009, I completed a Master of Science in Technological Entrepreneurship – a business program that focused on early stage companies and product development.

I began photographing anything and everything when I was 15 years old.  As I honed my skills as a film photographer, digital photography became the apparent next generation.  So as a result, I adapted to digital photography and learned the computer programs associated with digital photography.  Since the age of 16, I have developed my private photography business primarily focusing on families and their young children.

My Ph.D. thesis is focused on three-dimensional imaging to quantify the progression of wounds and wound healing.  Additional research includes the implementation of capstone experiences at the high school level through Northeastern University's CAPSULE program.

When all is said and done, I use all my skills to create images no one else can master.

PhotoEngineering is my creation and expertise.
